Light Roast | South America
The Fondo Paez cooperative was founded in 1992 by Colombia’s largest Indigenous group, focused on reviving traditional farming practices and supporting the Paez culture—long impacted by conflict, colonization, and disconnection from the land. Buying coffee from this co-op directly supports that mission, and honestly, it tastes pretty great too.
This is a premium lot, which means our producer partners spent extra time selecting, processing, and fine-tuning every step. There’s not a lot of it, and it costs a little more, but it’s worth it—both in the cup and in the support it brings to the farmers.
Flavor-wise: honey, chamomile, and lemon, with a silky body and bright-but-balanced acidity. A thoughtful coffee, start to finish.
